The St. Regis Atlanta Celebrates Reimagination for 10th Anniversary
The St. Regis Atlanta is undergoing a property-wide refresh, which should be completed by early 2019. The property will initially celebrate its 10th anniversary with the unveiling of its reimagination, including contemporary enhancements, while still embodying traditional Southern elegance. The renewal, inspired by its historic surroundings and refined to incorporate the needs of the modern traveler, includes a rejuvenation of rooms; the introduction of a bespoke, three-story meeting and event space, Maisonette; an expansion of the lively St. Regis Bar; and an overhaul of the outdoor terrace at Atlas to provide guests with an all-season garden experience. Additionally, The St. Regis Atlanta will use the services of Intelity.

Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Unveils Multimillion-Dollar Renovation
Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway has undergone a multimillion-dollar renovation to the ATL Airport hotel. The redesigned hotel offers a completely transformed guest experience, including all-new guestrooms, meeting spaces, a lounge, lobby and a fitness center. The Marriott Gateway’s newly renovated rooms and suites feature modern decor, custom-designed furniture pieces, new mattresses, tub-to-shower conversions, additional in-room USB ports and 55-in. HDTVs. The renovated hotel lobby has Starbucks coffee, a 400-sq.-ft. market built for convenience, grab-and-go food items, and last-minute necessities. New meeting spaces offer the latest in audiovisual and presentation services, along with a dedicated planning team for putting together events. Part of the massive airport renovation includes the development of the Central Passenger Terminal Complex (CPTC), offering two independent facilities for domestic and international passengers, as well as seven gate concourses. The hotel is a short distance from the terminal via ATL’s SkyTrain.

Atlanta Marriott Marquis Unveils Complete Restaurant Renovation
Atlanta Marriott Marquis has completed the renovation of its in-house downtown Atlanta restaurant, Sear. The renovation includes an interior redesign and menu refresh, designed to capture the patronage of longtime Atlanta guests and visitors alike. The Marriott team has worked with top designer, HeCho Inc., to create a dining experience that incorporates a steakhouse atmosphere. True to its name, the newly renovated Sear is a fire-inspired American steakhouse with local flair, incorporating ingredients from Georgia and Alabama farms. Patrons will also be able to experience a selection of signature craft cocktails and a specialty bourbon bar offering more than 20 local bourbon selections. The redesign of the restaurant in downtown Atlanta also includes an open floor plan, and a private waiting area with nearby bar and art elements. To complement the theme of local-centric iconography, and Sear’s menu of locally sourced cuisine, artwork by local artist Lynx Nguyen is etched into the back wall.
