Celebrated Southern California resort, Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, has selected Intelity to create a branded mobile app using the award-winning ICE (Interactive Customer Experience) Mobile platform as the foundation. The resort will also have guest rooms installed with ICE Bedside software on tablets to revolutionize the in-room guest experience.
Guests can download a customized app, which is able to run on Android or iOS mobile devices, and use it even before they arrive at the AAA Five-Diamond property. Hotel information and digital access to guest services are available through the app, providing guests with everything they need to communicate and make requests directly with the staff.
After checking in, they can also access a menu of information and services using ICE Bedside on in-room tablets. ICE transforms each tablet into a multi-purpose service tool with features that range from streaming music to alarm-clock-radio functionality. The ability to present a full digital compendium offers the resort the unique opportunity to gradually replace printed materials in the room as a way to cut costs and promote environmental sustainability.
A primary benefit of the Intelity system is the included ICE Control System (ICS), a set of back-end components that staff can use to manage the guest-facing interface and track usage. From direct messaging to built-in request management to instant analytic reports, the ICS presents a wide range of additional operations that makes ICE both powerful and scalable.
