Your UI Design Approach:
● You validate assumptions and recognize and seek a deeper understanding of the truth by posing non-leading questions to stakeholders.
● You base your design decisions on data and thrive in a dynamic atmosphere.
● You are an expert in Figma, specializing in creating design systems and managing components at scale.
● You relish the complexity of designing at scale, particularly with shared UI components at the platform level.
● Your keen attention to quality assurance makes you the platform’s UI components custodian, overseeing their evolving requirements and implementation across various products.
● You know frontend development well enough to effectively communicate with developers about best practices.
● You can operate with autonomy, requiring minimal guidance.
Your UX Design Approach:
● You enjoy designing both complex and straightforward features.
● Prioritizing clean and precise Information Architecture (IA) is integral to your design philosophy.
● You maintain a minimalistic approach to defining success, making few assumptions.
● Your enthusiasm extends to user research, data-driven design, and psychology, even within the intricacies of the hospitality and travel industry.
● Your creativity starts with thinking outside the box, and you adeptly refine design suggestions for practical implementation.
● Unconstrained by design systems, you ensure they do not hinder your creative expression.
● While working towards long-term solutions, you remain adaptable to the necessities of quick short-term fixes.
Requirements:
● 5+ years of professional experience designing responsive websites and/or apps.
● Own the planning of simple and complex research activities and analyze the outcomes generated by the research.
● Proficiency in creating user-centered designs and designing app-based digital products’ UI, information architecture, and interaction flow.
● Experience determining the end-to-end user experience map, building empathy and understanding with the users to improve their journey through the platform, and making thoughtful and helpful design decisions.
● Design and implement overall product experience, including a look and feel creative approach. Informs and shares design process insights with the stakeholders and team partners.
● Understanding digital product design principles, including mobile standards, systems design, and agile development methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
● At least 2 years of experience in B2B software and product design.
● Experience in the hospitality and travel technology space.
● Experience in designing for multiple devices including Tablets and Kiosks
