Hotel in-room tablets with Intelity’s award-winning software will enhance the guest engagement strategy of the St. Augustine, Florida, property.
The leader in hotel guest technology, Intelity, will introduce hotel tablets installed with its guest engagement SaaS platform into guest rooms and the lobby of The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens.
General Manager Howard Letts said, “Our goal is to blend the feel offered by a bed and breakfast with the luxury service of a four-diamond hotel. Intelity’s advanced hotel technology provides traditional, high-quality service with modern convenience, so it’s a perfect fit toward that goal.”
The Intelity platform offers both guest-facing and operational benefits that can be leveraged by a hotel to improve the guest experience, increase guest satisfaction, create new revenue channels, and streamline operations.
ICE Bedside software on hotel in-room tablets allows hoteliers to save money on in-room print collateral by presenting all hotel information, such as menus and compendiums, with an easy-to-use interface on touchscreen tablets. It also offers alarm clock-radio functionality, weather updates, and a menu of virtual concierge services.
ICE Lobby allows hotel guests to take advantage of tablets in hotel lobbies or other central locations, which they can use to find general information or make simple requests such as printing boarding passes.
On the back end, requests made by guests using mobile devices can be viewed, tracked and assigned in the ICE Control System (ICS), an enterprise system with tools for hotel management and staff. Other features include content control, direct guest marketing and messaging, and access to business intelligence related to guest use of the hotel app.
Intelity CEO and President David Adelson said, “The Collector is looking to build a ‘home away from home’ guest experience, and technology is important because it’s something that’s an expected part of guests’ daily lives. We’re excited to see this property use our hotel technology to exceed guests’ expectations and establish a strong reputation from the moment it opens its doors.”
