The Woodlands® Resort & Conference Center, owned by The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), announces a new partnership with hospitality technology firm Intelity to introduce the company’s ICE (Interactive Customer Experience™) platform at the Resort.

Guests can download the Resort’s customized version of Intelity’s mobile guest app to their personal smartphones or tablets. Using the app, they can view information and make requests for a variety of services, from mobile check-in to room service.

For guests’ convenience, touchscreen tablets loaded with Intelity’s in-room tablets will also be made available in all 406 guest rooms. The tablets are modern replacements for the traditional clock-radio, with the ability to set wake-up calls and stream music in addition to accessing all hotel information and services.

General Manager and Vice President of Hospitality Greg Parsons said, “The mobile app brings numerous benefits for our guests. We are able to create a premier experience that begins before they even arrive and continues even after they depart, contacting our dedicated staff whenever and however they want.”

Meeting planners and attendees will also benefit from downloading the Resort’s mobile app. Using the app, they can view information about the Resort’s offerings and make custom requests about anything they might need to execute a successful event. Planners can work with hotel staff to utilize the tablets to send special messages and notifications to members of their specific group. Personalized video messages can also be recorded and uploaded to greet those staying in the group’s room block.
